About This Series

Sethran Kada, who annoyed Nova in The Catalyst and shows up later in Rebel Alliances, gained fans of his own along the way.

And so here is Quantum Tangle,the first of his own series of space opera adventure, which fills in a little of his background and dumps him into the middle of an alien invasion. Waging his private rebellion against both the rebel opposition and Air Command, he's on the run from both to save the day.

Seth is not the super-spy, unbeatable secret agent type. Things don't always go his way. He has no clever insights into the Big Bad. His missions are beset with emotional entanglements that a proper operative should avoid at all costs. But he's quick and resourceful and he knows all the right people to get the job done - in some way or another.

Also making a re-appearance is Caelyn, the Delphian navigator that helped out in The Catalyst.

In Book 2, Terminus Shift, Seth rescues a group of Delphians who were kidnapped by rebels as children and raised as their own. Turns out that they are deep space navigators of extraordinary talent which really solidified this Universe's concept of "subspace" as a main theme for the entire series. While Air Command's rebel wars are still raging all around, Seth moves within both systems and, like Nova Whiteside, frequently entrenched in the gray areas in-between.

Entropy's End, Book 3, came about because so many readers weren't happy about the disappearance of a certain character in Quantum Tangle. So they're back - in a quirky way typical of the character. Not saying more than that!

Most recently, in Killian's Maze, Seth's friend Caelyn has gotten lost and doesn't want to be found. Of course Seth goes on a rescue mission and finds far more than expected as the story unfolds.

Chronologically, Quantum Tangle takes place just after Only Human of the main Targon Tales series, but there is no connection between the stories other than settings and some of the characters.
